SSC CPO 2024 Eligibility and Qualification details:
Age Limit:
Candidates must be between the ages of 20 and 25 as of March 1, 2024. That indicates that in order to be eligible for the hiring process, candidates must have been born between March 2, 1999, and March 1, 2004. According to the central government’s regulations, there is a relaxation of the maximum age restriction for a number of categories, except departmental applicants for the Delhi Police.
Age Relaxation:
- For SC/ ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC Candidates: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Candidates: 3 years
Educational Qualification:
A bachelor’s degree from a university with accreditation or its equivalent is required of candidates. If they meet the requirements before the deadline, candidates who are awaiting the results of their Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent test may also apply.
Only for male applicants, the Sub Inspector Executive position in Delhi Police requires a valid driver’s license for cars and motorcycles as of the day of the physical examination.
